Learn the Technology Cores

If you're new around here, even if you're not, we know learning the differences between the various options (Eco-Baselit RGB, SN-Pixel, Xenopixel, Proffie Tech Core) here at Vader's Sabers can be confusing. So we've simplified it a bit with a breakdown of each below. Still have more questions, you can always visit our FAQ page.

01

Eco-Baselit (In-Hilt LED)

The blade is actually an empty tube with light diffusion film inside, and all the light comes from the bright LEDs in the actual hilt (no effects in the blade) as opposed to 'Neopixel' cores which require pixels (or LEDs) in the blades. This technology core option is the best for dueling purposes.

03

Golden Harvest v3

Gestures controls for off/on, multiple sound fonts, Smooth swing, accent swings, flash on clash, blaster block effects, customizable**, sound font editor easier, slightly cheaper than Proffie (being phased out; only a few left!).

**Can change blade styles, blade effects, blade colors, fonts, etc. via saber editor menu built into the hilt and on-the-fly; no need to code a config file like Proffie.

02

SN-Pixel / Xenopixel

Gestures controls for off/on, Smooth swing, flash on clash, blaster block effects, customizable*, Bluetooth connection available, best bang for buck.

*Can change blade styles, blade effects, blade colors, fonts, etc. via app (Possible to do from hilt itself but it is all time-based button controls.)

04

Proffie

Gestures controls for off/on, multiple sound fonts, Smooth swing, accent swings, flash on clash, blaster block effects, 100% customizable down to the last detail***, priciest of the cores, built for the force-sensitive coders.

***Advanced coding skills (i.e. Fett263 via Arduino) needed to change anything beyond color or fonts that come pre-installed on the MicroSD card.
