The hilt, is striking at just over 12.5 inches long, captures the distinctive look of the original Graflex flashgun - a camera from the 1940s AD, popularized as the lightsaber of Luke Skywalker and his father Anakin before him. Rendered in gleaming chrome-plated brass, its weight is substantial and evocative of the trusty tool wielded by Jedi Knights. Near the bottom of the hilt, a series of seven black and silver 'grip' bands adorn the lower mid-section, lending the weapon a firm and reliable hold, while the distinctively rounded 'emitter shroud' prepares to unleash the saber’s famous radiant blade.
 
An authentic glass eye adorns one side, with the red button serving as a 'blade emitter button,' while on the opposite side, the slide switch; a second button completes the iconic Graflex design. Disclaimer: As part of the manufacturing process there may be tinting/discoloration in the inside (not visible from outside) of the handle down by the D-ring. This is caused by the metal heating up to allow the bottom pommel plate to be welded on. Some Graflexs will have more tinting than others; this is totally normal and part of the amazing process of creating these beauties. This is not official Star Wars merchandise but a high-quality reproduction made with attention to detail. Please handle this with care and follow safety instructions. As a collector's item, it's not suitable for children and does not have the functionality of a toy.
