Rey constructed her lightsaber using scavenged pieces from her staff, a nod to her past life on Jakku, where every scrap had a story. This saber, like Rey herself, embodies resilience and resourcefulness. The muted black hilt and geometric emitter mirror the utilitarian design seen in Rey’s final scenes.
Here’s a fun one for the lore-junkies: did you know Rey’s yellow blade color is a rarity in the Jedi Order? Typically seen with Temple Guards, the yellow saber signifies someone who walks the line between combatant and sentinel—knowledge and defense. Much like Rey herself.
